We provide consulting services to Ambulatory Surgical Centers, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Our consulting services are provided by FL licensed Consultant Pharmacists.
For nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities we provide all required reviews and required processes for ACHA and CMS surveyors. In addition we provide quarterly in-services for nursing staff and attend quarterly Quality Assurance meetings. Our pharmacists are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Consultant pharmacists are not required by law for Assisted Living Facilities except under certain circumstances. We provide programs so those “certain circumstances” do not occur. We offer quarterly reviews of all medication-related areas, non licensed personnel medication assistance training and mock surveys. We inspect your medication storage areas for deficiencies. If you participate in our quarterly review program, the consultant pharmacist is available during your state survey for questions or issues that may arise.

We provide controlled substance accountability and help with any additional security needs.
We offer a variety of medication packaging. Our Class 1000 clean room allows us to prepare sterile products (intravenous, Ophthalmic or Irrigation). We offer established systems for accountability for controlled substances. In addition to our pharmaceuticals, we carry a variety of medical supplies including urinary products, wound care products and a variety of nutritional supplements. We offer daily deliver service to central Brevard residents in Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Port St. John, Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island, Rockledge, and Vierra/Suntree area. We offer weekly delivery service to the Titusville area.
Our staff acts as a liaison between doctor offices for refill requests and insurance companies and doctors when Medicare Part D plans have restrictions on medications.
We set up billing accounts for responsible parties and are available to address their concerns. We accept most Medicare Part D Insurance programs and offer medication review. We are able to repackage medications from mail-order or government facilities to the “bubble packing” system. This practice ultimately saves the patient money.
We can provide medication observation records for each patient.
Section 429.256, F.S., requires unlicensed ALF personnel involved with assisting with the self-administration of medications to complete a minimum of 4 hours of training pursuant to a curriculum developed by the department of elder affairs prior to assisting with medications.
